Every year in mid-August, across Japan, people celebrate the Obon Festival, a long-standing traditional event. Similar to Vietnam's Vu Lan Festival, Obon is a time for people to remember and show respect to their ancestors.
Japanese families gather to light incense, clean graves, and participate in many unique cultural activities like the Bon Odori dance and floating lantern ceremonies.
With a spirit of respect for the unique cultural identities of both nations—Japan and Vietnam—Anabuki always hopes to be a bridge connecting these two cultures.
